There is Comfort ...

in reading such uplifting, encouraging & heart-felt comments. Such comfort.

in watching some of the skills you've taught your children actually get used.

in listening to fellow educators and administrators applaud the learning that is happening around our community.

in visiting with a parent who is so very, very proud of her family and faith. Oh such comfort.

in being told "I love you" throughout a day.

in showing kids everything I know (not very much) about apples.

in the smell of apples drying in a dehydrator.

in relationships.

in re-reading such encouraging comments. What comfort it is to know what others think.

in walking around old abandon buildings with two good friends looking at "light."

in phone conversations with family.

in reading quotes that make you stop and think.

in looking at cupboards full of food & a well-stocked refrigerator and deciding Pizza Hut was the place to be.

in just "being" with my 2 boys in a corner booth. {no tears, no frustration ... just being}

in going to bed at 8:30 absolutely ready to collapse and actually sleeping all night.

in knowing that I am blessed. Such, such comfort.
