well, maybe not the Ian you're thinking of... but a close 2nd!
Any idea who this left-handed, cowboy, guitar-playin' fool is?
None other than Ian Tyson... ever heard of him?
I hadn't either... until I met my Ian.
I'm pretty sure it was one of the 3 hour rides home from a WSU football game with JP and Ian during the fall of 2001 when my world was forever changed and I developed a "liking" for this Canadian cowboy poet/songwriter/singer.
I've seen him in concert now 3 times... and have truly grown to love the feel of sitting in the Slickfork Saloon with about 100 other Ian Tyson fans like this one:
(she knew every word to every song & never stopped smiling or giggling)
imagining myself out on the range experiencing life in the old west as he sings to the small crowd.
Last Friday night - after a very LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG week, I met up with these 3 lovely ladies:
Allison, Sevennah & Ronda
for a night on the town - "Round Up" style.
We had a GREAT time! It's amazing what makes you laugh at 1:00 in the morning...
Let'er Buck!
**don't tell Ian, but we sat in the front row**
