Easter. {picture overload}

It was a great day filled with faith, family and friends ... and a whole lot of good food too!

Thank you Jesus.

This life we're blessed to live is all because of You!

five on Friday.

{1}.  Mack is really good at catching little bugs.  He's really good at killing them too.  Smashing and stomping are two of his favorite activities.

{2}  Mack also loves to pick {fwowers} for me.  He's getting really good at spotting dandelions from a million miles away.

{3} I so wish that I had some chickens to gather fresh eggs from every day.  But then I remember that they flutter around and may even peck at things and I'm thankful Bryn has chickens and not me.  Not a huge fan of flying animals that peck.

{4} Easter eggs are still finding their way to my desk.  I may have mentioned to my kids that I love chocolate - especially when it's in an Easter egg. I think most of them were listening to me that day.

{5} Mack has a BFF ... and his name is Clint.  Lucky boy ... lucky Clint.

Run and Jump.

sometimes ...

when you jump as far as your legs will let you ...

or

when you run as fast as your legs will carry you ...

you end up in that place where you were always meant to be.

...........................................

Thank you Mason - for wanting to do track ... and for running your heart out.

You continue to teach me so very much about myself.

Jump far and run hard tonight - I'm cheering you on!

my very own "chronicles".

I’ve tried approximately 7 times to do the “read the Bible in a year” thing. And approximately 6 of those times I’ve failed. Attempt number 7 is going strong … and it’s taking me through some amazing places with some pretty great people in God’s Word where I’ve never been before.

In just a few short weeks I’ll have made it all the way to Psalms – one of my favorite books in the Bible. The book in which David’s praise and admiration is shown in three basic directions – upward, outward, and inward.

My {daily walk Bible} states it best:

Upward – in spontaneous praise to God
Outward – in public testimony and thanksgiving
Inward – in humble dependence on God

This list of blessings, of gratitude, of living fully right where I am … it’s just what God delights in.

To hear my joyful noise written, spoken, prayed … in adoration of Him and the things He is doing in and through me gives Him delight ... and I love that.

These “chronicles” in my life and the numbered happenings of what is and is to come … they’re evidence of a God that forgives, that forgets, and that loves me (and you)  – over and over and over again.
