You've always believed that I'm right where I'm supposed to be.
On the golf course near the very end of the day.
In the swimming pool with a bunch of little kids in the middle of the summer.
At a college - not too far from home.
Teaching in a classroom of first and second graders.
Behind the microphone.
On my knees in prayer.
Writing my heart out.
With a view and a ranch in Eastern Oregon ... surrounded with boys, and calves, and dirt.
You've cheered me on and prayed me through each place I've found myself throughout my entire life.
Today was no different.
And when I found myself typing this morning, I knew you'd pray me through - along with many others.
Typing, and asking ...
Needing
extra amounts of prayer and positive thoughts today… as I think I’ve been
crying since I woke up – and for no apparent reason. This {winter} season
of my life has been one of the hardest – and I’m not sure why … But I will
survive it knowing that God is at work and creating a better me through it
all.
I went
to bed last night at 7:45 and am feeling like I didn’t even sleep … I’m
exhausted and I can’t be! I have 25 precious little people in my
world that need me at my best … and then 3 even more important people at home
waiting for me at the end of my day with 25.
I’m
just feeling attacked from every angle and am asking for prayer today ~ Linds

My support group and prayer warriors are amazing. The day was filled with evidence of a God that works miracles, provides support, and keeps His promises. If I ever doubted it, I sure shouldn't have.
Your words arrived at the end of the day. Right after I had cried with and hugged a set of my classroom parents. My arms and heart had encircled sweet Sara and Derek the best they knew how, and my tears fell with theirs.

I'm not running and jumping yet, but your words will be truth in my life. They will. And I will keep them with me forever:
As
I have been praying for you today, I have been taken to a wonderful image
that's in front of you every day this season... that of calves running and
jumping for the joy of just being alive. I have that vision clearly in my
head...the one of calves living life...and while we were feeding, I told Ian
and the boys about the joy it brought me to see those calves running for joy.
My prayer is to see you, Lindsay, running and jumping, carefree, loved
and secure, at peace with the wonderful woman you are, nothing to prove-just
Jesus living His life through you.
This prayer was given even more shape
by being led to Mal. 4:2, "But for you who fear my my name, the Sun of
Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free,
leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture."
God
Bless you indeed, Lindsay!
Dad
I'm blessed indeed dad - because of so many, many things, but especially because of the earthly father I have in YOU!
I made it through this day, and I will continue to make through each day ahead. God will see to that - and so will you! (along with the army of support I have with me each and every day)
I love you!
Your oldest, freckled, loved, and blessed daughter,
Lindsay
