missing.

my favorite ribbon scarf.

my warm socks.

a belt.

thank you cards (that are written and addressed).

a few bills.

my bed.

my computer connection from home.

patience.

my camera.

mom & dad.

.................................

transition is hard.

and no matter how much you prepare yourself for changes to come, there are still things that are {missing} when you find yourself standing in the middle of {change}.

...................................

the bedroom floors are unfinished.

the bathroom is sub-flooring.

our clothes are in boxes.

and

we're calving ...

so the mudroom is muddy and even a little bloody (c-section last night) and it smells like milk-replacer.

.....................................

one day at a time.

and someday soon ...

pictures will be taken.

pictures will be shared.

and, pictures will be on here.

yes.

someday soon.

sorry you are missing some of your things.. but what you do have is yourself, your family, friends, food, health, a home and many many other "things" and that's what is really important right? hope you are loving your new surrounding even though it sounds a little out of sorts. have a great evening and wonderful friday. and hurry up and find your camera.. missing seeing your amazing pictures! thank you for being a friend in my life lindsay!

Your way with words is amazing ...... and I know you'll find the "missing" things in your world. They will surface, you will see!
Missing you, too!

I just know that GREAT things are being written daily on the walls of your new home! And, how fun is going to be when those missing things show up...it'll be like a surprise party! Praying this evening finds you all just cuddled up enjoying some quiet time! Sweet blessings!

Hang in their! It wont be this way forever, and just think of everything you're learning in the midst of it :)

Hang in there - tomorrow is another day. Some of those things may have been misplaced and you'll find them - together with a story to provide to your boys (there's a lesson learned, after all). Just think of the opportunity you're giving them in the long run. It is YOURS! And BTW - the missing items may surface - a week or two weeks or even a few months from now in a box you never expected to have found them in. Then it will be like a gift all over again.

Oh friend, hang in there! Everything will show up. Or at least most of it!! The good news is, the weekend is here, so you'll have time to search and put away. Good luck with the calves!
