this ... and that.

this is me ... sinus infected, scarf wearing, picture taker.

this is Ian ... generator starter, cattle lover, frozen anything hater.

this is Mason ... climber of much, slider of more.

this is Mack ... a pirate, a comedian, a {I like to stay in the warm pickup} kind of kid.

this is the gate that Ian forgot the combo to ... yes - we're locked inside a pasture.

this was the first hill we climbed in search of the perfect tree.

this is my hand holding onto my little man - trying to share some warmth.

this is Mack not enjoying the climb to find the perfect tree.

this is Mack eating clean, white, mountain snow.

those are Mack's tears frozen to his face.

this is Ian and Mason the mighty tree hunters.

this is what my fence has looked like for almost a week now ... dang frozen fog anyway.

at least it knows how to create its own art.

Beautiful pictures of a memorable day, I'm sure! :) And I still think the 3-sided tree is genius!

We went looking for the perfect tree, too! It wasn't quite like that though...Have a Merry Christmas!

God's creation in the mountains is breathtaking, but a little sunshine sure would have made it a little more palatable! But ..... that is what memories are made of!!
