It's my mother-in-law's word for 2010 ... and a GREAT one at that.
Relationship.
Defined in so many different ways.
I liked this definition the best:
Relationships are the connections people have with other people. Relationships may be between people with personal connections or those with connections based on print, media or correspondence. People absorb more knowledge when the bond is with someone they know and respect.
Some relationships are simply for pleasure.
Others are necessary.
Some are required.
And one thing I know for sure ...
if they're {right} ... they will make you a better person than you ever thought you could be.
Relationships are all around us.
It's our choice to embrace them ... to nurture them ... to {be} in them.

And Jesus wants us to involve Him in our relationships ..... first of all with Him, and then allow Him to nurture/embrace/be in the ones He puts in our path.

relationships.. i'm with you on this one. some good, some not so good. but i guess it is up to each one of us individually do see what we are supposed to see in each one {relationships that is}. i know i can always count on you and your wise words of wisdom to inspire and encourage me like no other. so, thanks. also, thank you for the kind words on my blog about my photographs. i AM trying and AM learning on a daily basis. it's hard when one is a perfectionist like myself... always working, trying and striving for the best. have a wonderful last two days of this week and hope you have another wonderful weekend with family and friends! ps glad to have a friendship with you, cause you're so wonderful and inspiring {i know, i already told you that, but it never hurts to hear it again}
Relationships have always been a hard thing for me. Lots of bad ones from the past make it hard to believe and trust that new ones won't be like the past bad ones. Something God has been working on with me...and something I have to continue to work hard at!

Great post...right on the money.
We seem to be separated by mountains and farm lands and close to 500 miles but you always find a way to gently tug on my heart and make me think twice!
Relationships..that is a great word! And, I'm soooo thankful that I"m blessed to have a relationship with you! Praying you have a wonderful weekend away with your family...and that it's overflowing with many Sweet blessings!
